build failing

After a cvs update this morning (to my linux i686), "make all" fails:

make[2]: Entering directory `/mook/pari/Olinux-i686'
cd ../src/desc; make Def
/bin/sh: line 1: cd: ../src/desc: No such file or directory

What's up with the src/desc directory? I don't have one, nor a Makefile therein with target Def?
