[PARI] MPQS error message: complement |
precision: I had the error message for factorint(10871200921861535) because previously I had a lot of factorizations ... (of course if I start GP and ask for the above factorization I get the correct answer) but, for instance if I start GP and ask (the stupid ...) for(i=10871200921861535,10871200921861535+400,factorint(i)) then I get *** MPQS: could not open requested file /var/tmp/LPTMP.500.7267. (and I have tested this one on different computers) sorry for the previous "imprecision" ... Igor Schein wrote: > This means that you've ran out of file descriptors allowed > for the process.
