Further Mandrake 8.1 Readline problems

Hi,

I am also trying to install Pari-2.1.1 on Mandrake 8.1, and have a related
problem.  In my case, it says that it finds readline, but it doesn't seem
to be working when I run gp.

The ./Configure output says that libreadline was found:

	Checking for optional libraries and headers...
	...Found libX11 in /usr/X11R6/lib
	...Found X11 header files in /usr/X11R6/include/X11
	...Found libreadline in /lib
	...Found libncurses in /lib

Linux Mandrake 8.1 comes with the rpm readline-4.2-4mdk pre-installed.
Any comments are appreciated.  Thanks,
