this bug was fixed in 2.2.12 as 2.2.12-F30:
  y*x^3/( 1+x+x^2 +O(y)) -> gerepile error [#403]

PARI/GP 2.2.12 was released on 24/01/2006, nearly 3 years ago, so I can
only heartily encourage you to upgrade to a more recent version,
say 2.3.4.
