Re: How can I change the base PARI computes in?

I need to compute roots in different bases to compare properties.
Specifically to see if certain properties change by base.

Is it not possible to convert from one base to another either?

I'm afraid you can't. What are you trying to achieve ?

By the way, the base of all PARI computations (PARI primitives) is 2^32
or 2^64, certainly not 10. Only the input / output routines know about base 10.
