M-x gp does not start gp

Hi,

Iam working on

Platform: x86_64-apple-darwin10.8.0 (64-bit)
Mac OSX 10.7.5

unpacked /Users/hoffmann/Downloads/pari-2.5.4
and ran

$ cd pariemacs-2.5.4
$ .\Configure
$ make Makefile all

a lot of statements ran over the screen, finishing without error,

and added to /Users/hoffmann/Library/Preferences/Aquamacs 
Emacs/Preferences.el:

(autoload 'gp-mode "pari" nil t)
(autoload 'gp-script-mode "pari" nil t)
(autoload 'gp "pari" nil t)
(autoload 'gpman "pari" nil t)

After the restart of Aquamacs
M-x gp

will not open a buffer with gp

Whåt can I do ?
