Hi, all,

I just updated my tree from CVS, rebuilt, and ran the benchmark test,  
with this problem resulting:

* Testing trans         for gp-sta..BUG [380]

This is the banner:

GP/PARI CALCULATOR Version 2.2.8 (development CHANGES-1.982)
          Power PC running darwin (PPC/GMP-4.1 kernel) 32-bit version
   compiled: Aug 15 2004, gcc-3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build  
1666)
                (readline v4.3 enabled, extended help available)

The diff file is below.  Any clues as to whether this is a local  
problem or a real bug?
